Quick 50 at $0.25/$0.50

The upswing from the $0.10/$0.20 level has continued at $0.25/$0.50. I'm off to a good start, up 50 BB for a crazy win rate of 25 BB/100. Of course that's largely variance and a very small sample size. But it's always nice to be running well. Draws have been coming in and bad beats rare. Still better to be plus 50BB than minus 50. I feel I'm playing pretty well. The table selection is pretty good at this level, I haven't found it difficult to find profitable tables playing against multiple bad players.

I'm not sure why bad players like this level. Maybe because there's lots of other bad players so they don't feel out of place. This is an interesting level because this is the first level where pretty much every pot is at least $1. $5+ pots are quite common. Also at some tables $10-$15+ pots are not infrequent. So this is probably a fun level for some bad players where the pots are started to be measured in dollars, but you can play there and pretty much break even or only lose very slowly. So reload is infrequent - there's frequently a reload bonus anyway on PokerStars, and if you do have to reload then just blame it on bad luck, crazy bad beats, and the fish.
